unlocking volvo radio at "off" posistion is more technical than at code posistion

for the past 3 weeks i havent unlock my radio in my car because it reached a more anti theft mode in the "radio sys off mode" Iam used to just connect and disconnect the battery, but now i realized that in this mode of locking system, you have to insert the keys at the ignition one posistion for two hours, until the code could be press.
