one of my favorite holidayss holy week, lahat slow down this part of the year,
time for one self, simla younger days enjoy these time of the year
ngayon its time to ride my motor bike to ride to anywhere in the metropolis without traffic.

nnong grade school ako , my dad use to have retreatsa baguio ciy, a three days retreat..... ny dad brought his staff and friends, so with my mother, ako din kasama ko mga kaibigan ko at mga classmates. rent kami ng whole house sa baguio city and 6 hotel rooms sa pines hotel. we travel there in several convoys, my parents and i usually fly by plane, a nihon PAL ys11 pa nga, sometimes a fokker friendship. dun na kami susun duin sa loakan air port. ( Philippine airlines onl y fly to Loakan in the mornins, no afternoon flights bcause at 1pm weather condition at Baguio city is erratic
I remember I spent a lot of time seating at the two fire place at Pines hotel, kasi my dad is in retreat/

during those times para kaming tourist sa Baguio city, minsan lahat ng mga friends ko binilan ng mga parents ko ng Poncho at daniel boone hat , t sa session road 7 kami mga gradeschool chums suot pareho

my mother i soooo sleepy today

mommy seems so very sleepy today according to mila,
but her fbs, glucose is 111 fbs fasting, 108 random

everything seems normal.
i just wish antok lang, dad and ate ina are sleepy too.

several weeks back my mom was soo sleepy , hard to wake up because her blood gucose is only 38

Ang nakakatako kay mommy ay bigla bumababa ang blood glucose nya, eratic , kay ako ay nanga ngamba sa kanyang pag tulog *pm normal sya pero hangang sya ay natutulog bigla baba glucose to a very alarming level, kaya mga 4am parang hibang sya. at sa mag damag nakaka 6 na ihi sya. dun lang namin mga 1am painum sya juice with sugar para ma normalze ang blood sugar nya pag gising.

also since 1970,s april 7 is a bad day for me

Vespa club of the philippines visit tanay Palm Sunday 2009

this is taken in the kitchen, preparation for food before the arrivl of my guest, t the left ia a balikbayan fmily friend who helped in the food preparations

this ia our typical picnic lunch, f inihaw na baboy, inihaw na tilapia, talong, tahong andd okra

then a long bamboo table with banana leaf is used as our table and hae boodle fight at lunch.

my guest this pam sunday at tanay farm is the vespa clubof the philippines, including insan jerry san juan and thier mecahnic "bunso"

Iam very san to see my mother sick, she has so many conditons now, from edema, shortness of breath, hgh creatinine, BUN, Cholesterol, artheroclerosis veins in the feet, end stage kidney, asthsma, hyperventelations ad etc........

today theresa my sister is here visiting her, just hope marami pang beses na vist si te kay mommy, she is going to 74 this may 27, same age na namatay lola ko, but iam sure mommy will be much stronger kay lola moheng because silola ay up to the last minute chrispy pata sa Bario fiesta pina bibili nya, but my mother s a vegetarian for a year now...... i is my goal for her to reach 80 years old..... para di sihin ni lola moheng na pina bayaan ko anak nya

te as we call her is so close to me noong schol days nya sa assumption. para syang si Joanne ngayon who share jokes and laughter with me always.

we celebrated jun hitler birth day at tanay farm last march 28, 2009
it was an over night affair. 45 bikers went up tanay at saturday night

sya ay reglar ko bisita ting hubes at sabado ng umag, doon sya sa kitchen with me at nag uusap kami anything under the sun.

Ako ay hang sa kanya kasi sa dami namin topic na na papag usapan mula local na politics, manila history noong panahon nila Arsenio Lacson at World politics, anak sya ng isang guro kaya siguro erudite sya

Loyal sya na maka connie Dy, at mareh kami mahil mag motor kahit na 65 years old sya

Tilapia.... unhealthy fish.....ratio of omega 3 and omega 6 faty acid is so great

good eats fried tilapia.................but now it is worst than bacon and beef

april 2009, i again resumed writing blog, i just boght a key board para pang usb... i really missed writing and postin blogs

taking care of ones parents in thier sunset years is very enotional, and sad.

I have a feeling that mommy is getting weaker and sickly, lagi sya hingal catches her breath always. doctor says its not because of heart but due to decrease hemoglobin in her blood. i just wish she could still recover.

my father is 81 years old, had a debilitating stroke in 1999 April , will be 10 years in April 21, 2009
my mother have many medical conditions. kidney failure, congestive heart failure, high creatinine level, asthma, hypertension.

ate ina, my dad,s sister is 100 years old

all i want is to spend more time with them, i go and visit them daily, lately I spend more tie almost till noon time, cook their food , and other things. supervise their activity, read news horoscope etc. I enjoy every time with them.
Lately i hire a lot to just keep them company, every shift am or pm there is a 4 person shift assign, in addition to regular visitors , gusto ko lang lagi madami tao around them always to cheer them u and keep them company. bed ridden at paralyzed na nga sila at malungo pa bahay.... ayoko ng ganun.
How ever, minsan some people in our house are taking advantage of my parents weakness, they lost alot of personal properties mostly personal properties from fine watches, shoes, cloths and other stuff, even kitchen equipments and appliances. nakaka iyak talaga.........

ganun pala pag matanda na parents mo and you love them very much, its a day to day basis talaga, i just don't know when they will be gone, kaya i try to see to it na mag kita kami araw araw. when wake up i call and txt them.. to see to it they have survived the night, and I'm very thankful for a new day again of spending another day with my parents. we cannot tell they could die in their sleep. an dami ko iniisip na ganito. i just wish na ilan decade pa kami mag kasama.

si mommy, i felt sad kasi lagi sya parang nawawala sa sarili, always dreaming about her mother, Erie feeling talaga, but still i know God will grant me my wish for longer life for them, kahit tangalin na ng konti ang life span ko at dag dag sa kanila, kahit nawala na ang political future, the power, the prestige... i just want long life for them.

my life is very simple now, loving my parents and my family and iam very happy for it

last sunday night joanne and i ate dinner at this cozy, hidden fine restaurant in luna mencias san juan. they serve very excelent food, we ordered 2 hwite fish with crusted parmesan and kbc chicken, tomato soup....... joanne enjoyed her dinner

vespa the second time around

in 2005, i had my first vespa px, LML and et8
back then some vespa club are so snobish they look down on scooter made by LML india which they treat as not qulified o be a member of euroscoot

i was irked about that, so I sold all my vespa until 2008 i bought agaib a classic px

well its thier loss hindi nila ako sinama sa euroscoot.......

ambulance service for my parents...

I enrolled my parents for ambulance service 24 hous service on stand by. no one knows when medical emergency strike, which i hope will not come in the very near futurethey have trained crews, and man power to transport them from the 2nd floor to any hospital anytime.

kaya ako kumuha ng ambulance service is after what happen sa volvo our driver is not fit to drive, more so when he is drunk

new porch in the house

arlene and i are now experimenting and designing the front of our house in wack wack with polycarbonate roof, it is a good way of having a new space to but some old mubles and rain proof furniture's in the porch which used to be an open space

ride to tanay with friends

this is our whole goup thatday to tanay, it is the first time i use my honda 125 cc uphill ,

this is is jenny and I at tanay, withbob, imo jun josie and 50 others riding to tany in our motorcycles

panic time for mommy's edema

lately my moms edema is getting serious, lumalaki ang paa nya, even her hands
at ang grasping for breath is alarming as well..
we brought her to her doctor sa makati medical at she was given doble dose or lasix and recormon, an erythopoetin medicine...... after a week the edema and the difficulty in breathing normalizes

also her heart as of yesteray has been gven a clean bill of health, but this is not enough.

water retention in her lungs, legs, hands is quite alarming.
lagi pa syang antukin, she cannot even finish hail mary.......

atlately, from th toilet papunta sa small room sa chair nya ay hinihingal na sya, at kailnagan pa oxygen lagi
