my facination with 2 way radio communication is really something, my first imersion with it is my kinder days, where I saw my father also using 2 way radio in his work.
in highschool I started using CB radio,s the GE model G with K-40 antenna, i had one installed in my car and in my room, another CB radio, "president grant"
During those times, Arlene's family is also into Cb radio, but thier set is is way very strong, a moon raker 6 directional antenne, and a Midland ssb CB radio.
I joined several rdio communications group, Stars INC, and i set up my own group of friends in our area as well

In college at UST, I graduated in CB radio and bought my self my first FM radio. synthesis an AOR( authority on Radio) with rubber duck antenna, my aim is to reach malibay to UST, I experimented in external antenna from 5/8's to full swing, to mobile base set up by ICOM 225A, Icom 223, Yaesu still full of splatters and hiss sound.

In 1992. I shifted to UHF low band, and slowly I had 56 radios portable, i convince my father to buy a repeater which he din and set it up at Bobby Domingo's Base five restaurant, that is the peak of the range and power of my set up with some of my staff, friends and family are just a ptt press away

in 1995 I tried smart net and later contel 800 mhz my range and coverage increasee to tanay to batangas ang pampanga......

i just spend one sunday afternoon with an old fried and his wife , kuya resty and ate luding



wai ying restaurant at Benavidez st. it is so full on a sunday , thier white chicken is ver delicious, after we passed by arangke market and buy paros and bamboo shells for them, i really missed them alot, they use to saty in malibay, , now they are based in antipolo, in my high school days i use to discuss all sort of topics with kuya resty, he is an erudite (like me)
ate luding is aacancer patient ( bowel cancer) in my highschool days there were times that she and several matrons accompany me to USA ( seatle, Chicago, st louis mo. charleston wv,Wash DC, NYC, LAX and SFO....... and orlando.
Kuya resty is a well read peson who also likes gadgets and stuff. he is wel traveled in his youth , as far as south africa, India and the far east, i could spend long hours and discuss a lot of topics with him. way back I want to join us with our trip to switzerland with my family on a holiday, a sort of reward for his friedship and loyalty to me, but due to times contrained at the swiss embassy I wasnt able to .

i install metzeller tires made in germany, i have a hard time converting it to mags because its size is 18 inches wheels, most bikes here in the Philippnes are 17 inches , iam adviced to downgrade it to 17 inches but i opted not to maintain its nice ride. i retain the old worl spokes.

the handle bar is clip on. cafe racer type, i had it annodized for quite a sum, which retain its original hue of gun metal

i remove the factory canopy to make it more of a standard, naked bike , paint the front shocks, remove some flairings, trim the seats, cut the pipes just protruding to the rear axel

"iam contemplating to chrome my entire fuel tanks, and remove all my rear fairing... im still studying what will it be

I am very happy with this bike, because i personally designed it.... it was originaly a kawasaki wind with modern headlight, i converted it to a classic round headlight of a honda super 4.

i plan to change the turn signal light up front, nanufacture some chrome covers for battery and air filter with mesh. change the instrument cluster to chrome ( but i will miss the fuel guage) replace the rear stop light to a more classic design.

my problem is the placement of turnlights at the rear, im sure it wilbe resolved by tuesday sept 23,2008

my typical day starts like this...........

every day I wake up at 3:45am, my first order of the day is to open my scanner radio for any police emergency of civil incidents, coup detat, i scan all the police and security frequency and at the same time open my old reliable Sony am radio. for the news at DZMM 630 . read a daily verse in my small daily bible and shower,
either i ride a motorcycle or a car to malibay. the gate near our house opens at 5:oo am so i still have alot of time for my self


every time i pass this bridge around 535am daily i feel recharged by the first rays of sun rise,
this is the altar at St. Andrews church at Bel aire makati, here i always make a stop and pray, and thanks the lord for giving me more time to spend with my parents

at more or less 5:00 am iI leave my place at wack wack and traveled to my fathers house this is the daily scenes.....

at that very young age, i personally witness my father geniunely doing his work in a very very dangerous , saving a city during a very strong storm

I cannot forget some statements made bu "sharon Cuneta" when her dad was sick, down and out. now I felt the same way as she does. Gone are the droves of people that goes to our house, who just sit and past the time there. our house use to be a very very busy , anyone could go there and eat, sleep and just stay and have coffee, now its dark and eriee..... I compare my sentiments with Sharon cuneta because his father and my father has the same job/

I cannot blame the people, that is life, that is politics. when my dad won all people are allies, after the stroke , the ship of his political carreer dips and his people abandoned him.

well that is life, i had accept that now, but i just hope and pray GOD will still give me more time to spend with my parents,

my next bike to be modified is this type a honda tmx, ill convert it to a post war english classic, in english racing green

this honda tmx is the work horse of tricycle transport here in the philippines, it is the best template for an all manual, kick start only cafe racer, i like the rear fender more than a kawasaki because it has a more retro look

for the past 5 days, my "suki" at the public market gives me beef bones every morning, not im feeling the negative side of those beef bones, as i cook stew, for pancit, lome, canton, bihon, chopseuy, the fats contents of the bone and the marrow does affect my blood pressure since yesterday, i feel sick since yesterday

This is ate Ina "Catalina" 99 years old? very strong she is the one who helped my dad finish his medicine, we will all be forever grateful to her
every morning she wakes up at 4am, she prays the rsary at least20 times per day
she has given all her life for my father

public life vs private life

last Aug 20, 2007 i called for a general meeting at our house to inform everybody that I will not run in any election again, just like retiring or bowing out, it is like letting go my career, for the sake of taking care of my family, " that I dont seek power, wealth and fame, just long life and happy family life"........ after a month I was apointed by the president.

It is openning up my ways, that once you let go, God will take over and guide you.... it is a miracle for me



public speaking for me is a trial by fire, I am basically a shy person, i never thought i could speak in public like i used to, i do belive that I inherited m father's posture in my speeches, many called me "orador" like my father.
maybe, some where in my blog i will para phrase some speeches that i made, and some of them are catch phrases i copied from my father in his 50 years as a poliician,
i never get tired of listening to him hem


I really prefer my life very private, since i was born or in conception, my family is in politics, it is my life sometimes i get bored and very upset for its victory and defeat...... one thing i learn is from the late president Marcos, " for every tear a victory"
Deep in my heart, running for office means just to please my father, i just hope i could convince my daugther run this election, for me i feel so tired of politics, if joanne runs, i could just be in a supporting role just like my tried and tested rle support for my father

1. north korea's pgymy dictator suffered a stroke, with no heir apparent
2. georgia and Ukraine , insistence to join NATO, which will be very humiliating for
Russia
3. turkmenistan - also a former USSR, a non aligned nation, with high gas and crude
old reserve, at present experiencing gun battles in its capital

in addition to Iran, Iraq, Syria, US elections, Mindanao conflicts these events keep me clued in TV, internet and newspapers

our future will be shaped by these developments
